Cranio-Sacral Therapy softens and frees the tissues that surround and protect the central nervous system—brain and spinal cord.
Using very light touch, the massage therapist assesses specific tensions lodged deep in the body due to injury or illness, monitors the rhythm of the cerebrospinal fluid and removes restrictions, restoring balance to the entire nervous system. CST helps your whole body self-correct at its very core, encouraging an overall state of well-being.
CST is especially effective for newborns who are in distress learning to latch-on during breast feeding. CST is performed with the recipient fully clothed, lying on a massage table. For children of any age, CST can be performed sitting, standing, lying or while they are at play or your lap.
